Fan club members, even those who join right now, will have a distinct advantage over the general public in purchasing tickets to some of the best seats available.

Starting today, Aero Force One (AF1) is launching a contest to give away four premium tickets with invites to the pre-show AF1 Sweet Spot V.I.P. Party for select shows to the fans who convinces AF1 they deserve the tickets THE MOST. Jack Wishna, the dealmaker at the center of the potential engagement, told E! Online Wednesday the pregnant pop star is interested in her very own Vegas show. "I met with Britney, her manager and her lawyers, and we are working on a deal to bring her to the Strip for 'X'-number of weeks in 2007-2008," he says. The venture consultant, who has successfully negotiated big-deal contracts for the likes of Wayne Newton, says a contract is in the works.

Rumors have started circulating about a Bon Jovi World Tour in 2005. Although the tour has not yet been confirmed, we have three really good reasons to believe it will happpen. Visit the Bon Jovi Tickets blog to find out why.

1. He is doing a pep rally concert for the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in September.

2. Don't think that means he will tour? Ok, how about the Bon Jovi Concert scheduled for the Soaring Eagle Casino in Michigan? It is doubtful he would go all the way to Mount Pleasant if he weren't doing a tour!

3. There are subtle hints on the Bon Jovi website that a tour is coming up.

With rumors of a Bon Jovi World Tour coming up in 2005-2006, we decided to put up some information on getting presale tickets from the Bon Jovi Fan Club. The Bon Jovi Fan Club is one of the strictest in terms or rules and regualtions.

The Bon Jovi Fan Club allows each member (membership dues are $40/person) to purchase one presale ticket with their membership card. This policy obviously makes it a little difficult to get seats for Bon Jovi concerts next to your friends, but at least you will be close. At $40 over face value, one would hope they could get more than one, but I guess we can't always get what we want.

The following is the text of the announcement from the Bon Jovi fan club on memberships and presale tickets:

Never one to rest on his laurels, three-time Grammy-winning, multi-platinum-selling writer/singer/guitarist John Mayer announces the formation of John Mayer Trio. This new venture marks the next phase in the remarkable evolution of a gifted, adventurous and prolific young artist who, in just the last few months, has performed and/or recorded with Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, John Scofield and Herbie Hancock, among others.

Joining Mayer in this new undertaking are drummer Steve Jordan (Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones) and bassist Pino Palladino (the Who, Jeff Beck), a pair of in-demand veterans who are readily acknowledged by their peers as the very best at their respective instruments. Mayer is thrilled that these two greats have chosen to join him in his latest musical adventure.

"Steve and I had been doing sessions together, and we were scheduled to do the Tsunami Aid benefit," Mayer recalls. "So Steve said, 'I know who we can get--Pino Palladino.' I said, 'I'd love to play with Pino.' Pino came and we rehearsed Jimi Hendrix's 'Bold as Love' for the benefit. And something happened that I had hoped my entire life would happen, which is that thing about how a band got together for the first time, and everyone in the room just knew there was something special. When it became me, Steve and Pino, it became this whole different thing. That set me off on a writing streak; the challenge was, 'Here's this great band - now what are you gonna do with it?' So I went and wrote from a whole new place. So it became a band."

The trio--who subsequently appeared at the 2005 Grammy Awards ceremony performing a captivating rendition of Mayer's "Daughters" (which took home that evening's awards for Song of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance)--will unveil their electrified sound on a fall tour of North America , including three dates with the Rolling Stones (dates below). Ray LaMontagne and Joss Stone have been confirmed as special guests on selected shows, while other support acts are still to be announced.

Mayer's fans are already familiar with his guitar skills and willingness to push the envelope of his music from having attended his concerts, but expect this stripped-down configuration to take these elements to another level altogether, as he answers the musical challenges provided by his gifted bandmates. "This trio tour isn't just an excuse to blow on the guitar," says Mayer. "It's an opportunity to present my fans with something live, in the sense of living now--that classic palate. I want people to show up at the gig and see the amp lights glowing and hear that idling buzz. I just want to bring people that power."

NEW YORK, NY -- (May 18, 2005) - The "Rolling Stones: Onstage" World Tour is bringing its fans the hottest opening acts around including the Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, Pearl Jam, John Mayer Trio, The Tragically Hip, and Les Trois Accords with more to follow. The Black Eyed Peas will warm up for the Stones at Fenway Park in Boston, August 21st and 23rd. Maroon 5 will open shows at Rentschler Stadium/Hartford on August 26th and Comerica Park/Detroit on August 31st. Les Trois Accords will play at the Frank Clair Stadium/Ottawa on August 28th. The Tragically Hip, Maroon 5 and Les Trois Accords will perform at Magnetic Hill/Moncton, Canada on September 3rd. Pearl Jam will appear at PNC Park/Pittsburgh on September 28th and John Mayer Trio will open at the MCI Center/Washington, DC on October 3rd and at the Wachovia Center/Philadelphia on October 10th. With another passing winter, so too comes another round of Pink Floyd +/- Roger Waters concert tour rumors. We have inquired all over the place and have found nothing more than various lists of rumors from previous years that just ended in heart break and disappointment for Pink Floyd fans.

As recently as November of 2004 Pink Floyd members were quoted as saying there is very little chance of the band reuniting for shows and that if Waters ever did share the stage with his former bandmates, it would be at a Farm Aid style of event where the cause of the concert was greater than the band itself.

One would hope that as the band members get older they will be able to put old differences behind for one last chance to play together. Some might even say they owe a concert tour to their fans. But the reality of it is that it may NEVER happen. But if it does, we will have ticket information right away - we promise!

Rolling Stones Ticket Presale Update

In response to the numerous e-mails we have gotten asking "What is the Rolling Stones Fan Club presale password?" We'll put one explanation here.

The Rolling Stones decided that May 9 would be the cutoff for fan club memberships for people wishing to get in on the early round of fan club presales. Unlike other bands, who left non-member fans out in the cold, the Stones are offering a second presale for members who would like to sign up after May 9. You will be able to try to get tickets, then decide if you want them, then join the fan club for $100 and buy them.

The fan club is offering some pretty good seats including "hot seats," which are guaranteed to be in rows 5-15. Please check back often as we will have constant updates on ticket on-sales, including details on "other" presales such as Amex (American Express) presales, Giants presales, and others that pop up and for which you do not need to be a fan club member.

All tickets available during the American Express on-sale can be purchased via Ticketmaster as follows: in Boston, from 3:00 p.m. ET on May 10 through 9:00 p.m. ET on May 13;

in New York from 9 a.m. ET on May 11 through 5 p.m. ET on May 22;

There will be a limited number of Gold Circle seats while the remaining 95% of the house will average $99 for stadium shows, $110 for arenas and all tickets for theatre/club shows will be $50. Buys will be limited to 6-12 tickets per person for stadium and arena shows depending on the venue. There is a 2 ticket limit for theatre/club shows. Tickets can be purchased through all usual ticket outlets.

The Rolling Stones announced today the kick off of the Rolling Stones World Tour at Boston's legendary Fenway Park on August 21st. With 35 dates already confirmed in the U.S and Canada, the band will then tour Mexico, South America, the Far East and finally Europe in the summer of 2006.

Fans, along with hundreds of members of the U.S. and international media gathered at Lincoln Center, were treated to the ultimate surprise performance by the Rolling Stones. As the famous opening notes of "Start Me Up" blared across the plaza, a giant banner with eye-popping signature tongue logos dropped revealing the band performing on the balcony-turned-stage of the 100 year old conservatory, Juilliard. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood played three songs for an ecstatic crowd, including "Oh No Not You Again," a new track off their upcoming CD along with their classic hit "Brown Sugar." This marks the first time the Rolling Stones performed at a press event since 1975 when they sang "Brown Sugar" on top of a flatbed truck as they rode down 5th Avenue.

The Rolling Stones Onstage will once again showcase their diversity as musicians and performers by playing three dramatically different venues from the grand scale excitement of a stadium, to the thrill of an arena to the intimate setting of a theatre and club with special set lists. This year's tour takes the concert experience to the next level by bringing together the advantages of an up-close club experience with their electric stadium show. The band will fulfill the ultimate dream of music lovers across the globe, offering the unimaginable-the opportunity to be onstage with the Rolling Stones. Continuing their historic creative partnership, Mick and Keith began writing together last autumn and have since recorded with Charlie and Ronnie. Their highly anticipated full length studio CD with all new material will be released by Virgin Records in conjunction with the tour.
